NOVA Eyesight

Record yourself using a web app. NOVA Eyesight captures what you do, what is on screen and what you say, then writes it up as a step-by-step walkthrough with screenshots — one a person can follow and an agent can replay.

01 What it does

  • A walkthrough written for you. While you record, Claude Code or Codex, whichever you have, turns the session into numbered steps with screenshots.
  • Narrate as you go. What you say is transcribed live and placed next to the screenshot it belongs to.
  • Your own browser. You record in a dedicated browser that keeps you signed in to the sites you use, from one session to the next.
  • Projects. Keep sessions together by what they are about, and move or copy them between projects.
  • Tests and guides from your recordings. Turn a walkthrough into tests for your developers or guides for your users, and run them against your app whenever you ask.
  • Safe to stop any way. Press Stop, close the browser, or even crash: the recording is kept, and its walkthrough can still be written.

02 What each recording gives you

Every session is a folder on your computer: the walkthrough, a video of the screen with your voice, a screenshot every second, the transcript, and a log of every action you took. Every link inside is relative, so the folder can be moved, zipped or shared as it is.

03 What you need

  • An Apple Silicon Mac, or a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC.
  • Claude Code or Codex, signed in, to write the walkthroughs. NOVA Eyesight can install either one and sign you in.

Everything else it needs — the browser, screen capture and transcription — is built in.

04 Your account and your data

You sign in to NOVA Eyesight with your Google or GitHub account. From Google it receives only your name, email address and profile picture, and uses them only to sign you in and identify your account.
